Celine Abiad Beader is currently based in Belgrade- Serbia, where she and her husband Ognjen are setting up multiple projects, while finalizing their new feature length documentary “In the Name of Tomorrow” .

Celine is a Director/Creative Producer, holder of a MASTER degree in Film Production, and BACHELOR in Audio-Visual Communication, from ALBA (Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts), Lebanon, as well as a CERTIFICATE in “Audiovisual Financing and Commercialization” from “ina” Sorbonne Paris 2, France.

Born in Nicosia, Cyprus but grew up in Lebanon, in a house full of artist and where arts was the norm. 

After her studies, she started her career in Beirut in 2006, when establishing BEIROOTS Productions, undertaking many documentaries, feature and short films. She moved to the UAE in 2011, and was very active in the market. She first worked with Eye-squad productions as a Creative Producer handling the film department. During this period she had the pleasure to work as a copywriter with  “My Dubai My city“ platform and online TV.
Celine worked closely with young directors and uprising talents, developing and executing news ideas with Twofour54 Creative Lab. Some of the titles she has been part of: The ruins, Feeding 500, Sunset State and The Shadow.

In 2014, she was the Head of the Film department/Senior Lecturer at SAE Institute Dubai, where for almost 3 years she was teaching film and media classes, developing the department, following up with more than 80 film degree students and helping in reshaping curriculums, among many other things.
